How to Become an Ambassador for Your Organization

What is an Ambassador?

An ambassador is a representative of your organization who helps spread awareness and promote its mission. They are often well-connected within the community and can refer people to the organization's platform. Ambassadors can also help plan events, create content, and lead conversations within the organization.

How to Become an Ambassador

If you're interested in becoming an ambassador for your organization, follow these simple steps:

  • Head to a group you are a member of or join a group.

  • Look for the Become an Ambassador button in the upper right corner.

  • Click on that button to open a form. Fill the form out and wait for an admin to approve your ambassadorship.

Once your application is approved, you will officially become an ambassador for your organization.

Referring Users

As an ambassador, your organization counts on you to refer users to the group. Use your extensive network to find the appropriate contact information.

Editing Group Information

As an ambassador, you have the ability to edit your organization's group picture and description. Here's how:

  • From the group you are am ambassador of, click on Edit Group Info

  • Choose the picture size - Logo is useful if your group represents a company. Otherwise, Picture is the best choice.

  • Clear the existing image, and then upload a new picture.

  • You can also change the About This Group text. Write up something memorable!

  • Click Save.

Note that any changes you make will be visible to all members of the organization.

Leading the Conversation

As an ambassador, you should lead conversations within the group and organization. Here are some ways you can do this:

  • Create posts within your group about memories, events, activities that you remember or that you want to do in the future. Remember to keep the conversations positive and respectful to maintain a welcoming and inclusive community.

  • Creating Draft Content - As an ambassador, you can also create draft content for your group.
