Once you've setup your account and edited your profile, you should let everyone know that you've arrived with a User Post.

Finding User Posts

There are two ways to find where to post and see other member's posts.

1) The home page - scroll down past the featured articles to see other user's posts. Click on Share a memory next to your profile picture to get started.

2) On the side nav (or from the top nav on mobile), click on User Posts. This will take you to a dedicated page for User Posts. Get started posting by clicking on the button next to your profile picture.

Create a Post

First, add some content. You can format it a bit with bold or lists, and you can add a link by highlighting text, clicking on the anchor icon, and pasting in the link.

Note: your post and comment text are moderated for appropriate content.

Add a Photo or Video

It's not required to add a photo or video, but it can be fun to do so. Here's how.

First, click on the image icon next to Add to post.

Then, click on Upload File to open the upload dialog.

Note: the photo or video may look a little different in the feed, as it's cropped for the appropriate aspect ratio in the card. However, when viewed from the detail page for the post, the full size image or video will show up.

Note: A video may take some time to show up on the feed. It will get there eventually, it just needs to be processed first.

This is the upload dialog. You can drag and drop from your device, or browse for an image. You can also choose to upload from a web address, hook up your google drive, or hook up your dropbox. Once you have enabled google drive or dropbox, you'll be able to search those location for the proper image or video.

Add a Tag

You aren't required to add a tag, but if you want to categorize your post, here's how to do it.

Click on the Tag icon next to Add to post.

The Tags selector will show up. Click into the input, and then search for a tag by typing, or scroll through the list of available tags. Choose as many tags as makes sense.

Finish your Post

When you're ready, make sure to click the + Post button to save your post. You can edit your post after the fact by clicking on the ... icon and choosing Edit. You can only edit posts you have created.

Interact with a Post

At the bottom of the card, you can View Post, Comment or Like.

Clicking on the Heart icon will show other users that you like the post.

Clicking on the Comment icon will take you to the post so you can comment on it.

Clicking on View Post, will take you to the post so you can see the full image or comment and like the post.
